The Joshua Frase Foundation Muscle Dream Team Gala, originally planned for Thursday, April 1, 2010, will be rescheduled. The event will be held at the Boston Harbor Hotel and will honor long time supporter, Michael Schlow, chef, restaurateur, author, and James Beard award winner, well known for his Radius, Via Matta and Alta Strada restaurants.

Over the last 12 years, JFF and the JFF Muscle Dream Team have funded extensive research at Children’s Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School and Wake Forest Institute to help children suffering with neuromuscular disorders. This research has already made life saving medical advances that will help thousands of children, while also finding treatments and cures for many degenerative illnesses that could impact any of us and our loved ones. In fact, the work being done is so impressive that JFF researchers were recently featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show with Dr. Oz.

This is an incredible event, with a long standing history, that has allowed for major scientific breakthroughs in medicine that we hope will save the lives of thousands of children with neuromuscular disorders.
